The experience through your eyes
One of the things I hear most often before a photo shoot is: "We aren't photogenic," or "We aren't used to having our picture taken." Some people worry about feeling awkward in front of the lens, feel self-conscious about being seen in public, or think they don't know how to pose. Couples sometimes fear looking unnatural—having to display gestures or smiles that don't feel like "them."
This is completely normal. Not everyone is used to being in front of a camera, and you don't need to be.
My approach stems from this very understanding. I don't expect you to know how to pose or to transform into someone else. I prefer to get to know you, give you time to settle in, and guide you with simple directions—never forcing anything. Often, all it takes is a walk through Florence’s lesser-known streets, a conversation, a shared moment of connection, or the joy of discovering a new place to gradually forget the camera is even there.
